Hello, lovelies!

It's been a long time and I'm so sorry for that and you have no idea how I've missed you. These past two weeks were crazy. My very best friend got married on Saturday so you can imagine how busy I was. I had the honor to do her makeup and be her maid of honor, so I really tried to focus on her.  I hope you understand. Anyway, let's talk about it this Sunday in Monthly Recap, okay?

And now? Let's go back to our old times. Good old eye makeup post. Today I was inspired by the super hot weather we have this week. Honestly, we are not used to this and I can't do anything in this temperature, my brain is like a wreck. So that's what actually inspired me to do this super hot orangey look. Hope you will like it.

This look was super easy and fun. I used the Morphe Brushe 35B palette, picked all the bright orange shades and packed them on my lid and into crease. To make it different, I used the NYX Vivid Brights Eye Liner in Delight to create wing eyeliner with some dots. The same process is on the lower lash line. I put some lashes on and covered my lower lashes with the same eyeliner from the NYX. Then used some highlighter to open my eye. And voilá, we're done.

Hello lovelies,

today I'm gonna show you version of rainbow eye look. To be honest, I'm not so sure, if I am really satisfied how it turned out. One day I love it, the other I think it's missing something out. What do you think?

I really like the part of the yellow, orange, red and purple on my lid. I did play with this section a lot to make sure that all these colors are blended together. When it comes to the crease and "transition" color, that's something I may not be satisfied. These colors were pain in the a*s to blend toegther and as you can see, the result is not the best. Trust me, it was super hard. To be honest, I don't think that  the eye look needs some description, because if you read some of my other looks, you pretty much know what I did. So rather than reading pretty long and boring text how I did this look, please take another look at these pictures and let me know, what would you do differently? Maybe no green? Or different undertone? I'm really lost in here, haha. Thank you for your reply.

Hello lovelies,

today I'm brining to you my monthly recap for June. I think this month I've done a lot and spend a lot of time outside, which I'm really glad. But before I'll start, I should warn you, that this post is gonna be a lot about my beloved pets. So if you are not in love with cats and dogs, maybe you should skip this one and check out my different posts.

First week of June was about driving 6 hours to Opava so we could've visited one Maine coon cat kennel. We decided that I was gonna buy 7th cat/bride for my beloved Stephan (half Maine Coon cat). He and the new cat are gonna stay with me when mom moves out, but because I will visit them often, we need to make sure that all of our cats will know each other and have no problems together. Anyway, we went to see this kennel and I fell in love with Bee. Beautiful multi-color lady with big open and playful soul, just exactly everything I was looking for. But by the time she was way too youngso we could take her with us, so with broken heart I had to leave her there and wait.

Afer that we went to my very first cat cafe. Not sure if you guys have that as well, but here in Czech there are a couple of cat cafe in a few cities. If you don't know what I mean by that, well let me explain. It's a cafe with many many kitties. You can watch them, snuggle with them, feed them, …just everything you want in case that you're being nice. Surprisingly, there were three Maine coon cat too and we were charmed. We've never seen anything like this. So we talked to the owner of that cafe and she recommend us another Maine coon kennel. And what did not happen? On the way home, we made another stop..

And made two great friends…

I also did my first mushroom picking this year. I loved it and can't wait for the season finally come. Not just because of the mushrooms, but because of the fresh air in woods too. I always clear my head and relax. Something you need to once in a while.

And the last thing I am excited for and want to share with you guys is that I actually ordered my very first acrylic system. I worked with gel probably for two years, but mom wanted to try acrylic again. I watched so many videos from NailCareeEducation channel, that I feel like I know everything. Well, it's not true, haha, but I'm trying. I'm playing with this stuff and hopefully I'll be capable of doing mom's and my nails in three weeks to my friend's wedding.

Hello lovelies,

in three weeks I'm going to do one of my best friend's makeup on her wedding day. Yes, I know,  this is a big deal and maybe she should leave that to a real professional and be sure that I told her that. But she is so obsessed with the idea that I'm the best choice and that she will be in a good hands with me. Well, I'm super flattered, I'm not gonna lie, but on the other hand, I wanna make sure that she's not gonna regret that later. A year back I went to my step sister's wedding, and as I wrote in a post, where I showed you my eyelook I wore, I mentioned that my makeup lasted way longer than actually my sister's. Her face melted down after two hours and believe me, it wasn't a good look. I'm not gonna repeat myself again, that I am not a makeup artist and that I've never studied it, but the fact that my tricks worked much better than someone's who actually got paid for it probably means something. So now, I'm gonna share with you some tips, if you're a beauty enthusiastic as I am, you know them all, but the repeating is the mother of wisdom, and if not, I'm glad to I can be the one who show you how to make your makeup last longer.

Skincare is the key | Like the blending is the key for the perfect eye look, the good skincare is the key for flawless and long lasting foundation. Now you may asking why. Well, it has an easy answer. Just remember when you have some blemish on your face, it always takes more effort to cover it and when you do, then it's the first thing what shows up. Just keep on your mind, the skin is not gonna be perfect over night. You need to take care of it, find the best products what works for you and then you're gonna have better or maybe great skin to work with. 

Primer is your best friend | If you have oily eye lids, eyeshadow primer is your best friend. I have extremely oily lids and without a primer, my eyeshadows would be one big mess. With the right primer, my work always stays put. If you're looking for a good eyeshadow primer, the Nars one always worked amazingly for me. And of course the face primer is important too. I have big pores so I use the POREfessional from Benefit. The foundation glides on smoothly, pores are smaller and it helps with the longevity.

Think twice before you apply | The choice of the right foundation is always important. Long lasting foundations don't call themselves long lasting for fun. There is something what you could use and take advantage from it. Plus always use old trusty foundation which won't disappoint you, don't experiment.

Heavy layers are not what you want | I'm pretty sure that it just seems right, heavy layer, better result. Well trust me, it's not true. The thinner layers you do and repeating them, the better and long wearing effect you get. Make sure that your work all the thing layers into your skin for natural looking finish. Just be aware, don't do many layers, you can end up with cakey face and no one wants that.

Never leave the house without a powder | Yes, this is one of the most important things I think. Powder can realy lock the foundation and make it stay in one place. What works the best for me is, that I take the damped beauty sponge, dip into loose powder or pressed powder and just work it out into the skin. Focus on the crease area - under eye, smile lines and nose. Don't be afarid to cake your face with powder.

Don't forget the setting spray | The latest step in this process is setting spray. Don't spare and save, shower your face with the setting spray. It has two great benefits. First one is that it takes off all the powdery effect and second is that it will make sure that you will look the same at night like you did in the morning when you applied your face, haha.

Last advice | This is not a tip or trick, but it's just an advice. If you want your makeup last super long, don't touch your face, don't smeard it around and do not reapply powder or foundation during the day. If you can see some imperfections or shine peaking thru, just use blotting papers. Trust me, it will help.

today I decided to show you the reason why I bought the Chocolate Bar palette from Too Faced. Yes, because of the Marzipan, Cherry Cordial, Salted Caramel and Champage Truffle I bought this palette. I saw similar eye look on KathleenLights channel and I knew that I need this palette in my life. So yes, this look I'm showing you right now is my favorite go to look with this palette and I think I'll never get tired of that. What do you think?

Hello lovelies,

in four days we are, well to be honest just some of us, going to celebrate 4th of July. I love this time of the year in USA, not because of the parties, drinks and drugs, but because of the decoration everywhere. Everyone wears clothes in red, blue and white colors and all of these beautiful patriotic garden decors are just so cute. This is something what I really admire on US citizens - the passion and love to their country. And because the 4th of July is on Tuesday and I post makeup related posts only on Wednesdays and Fridays, so I decided to share with you some inspiration for easy and not too crazy eye makeup look for this day now. I like how this simple look turned out into something very unique and interesting. I think I would definitely wear something like this to a party if I was a party girl, haha.
