Batiste, Dry Shampoo

by - 9:00:00 AM

Hello lovelies,

today I'd like to talk about my life savior and favorite hair products - Dry shampoo from Batiste. I don't know if I mentioned that before, but for last two years I've been trying to save my hair from dyeing. I think I found the perfect hair care routine which works perfectly for me (I'll talk about it later) and it consists of products and not washing my hair that often. Now, you might think "Urgh, that's gross" and yes I agree, but… This fact actually helped me a lot. In the beginning I washed  my hair once a week, now I do it twice a week and because of that, dry shampoo is my savior.

I usually buy this product in local drugstore around $8, so I'm pretty sure you can find it almost everywhere - drugstore, Ulta or Asos. You can choose from many scents and types - 12 to be exact. Origin, Cherry, Floral, Tropical, Fresh scents and more, or diffenernt types - blonde, brunette or deep dark color of your hair (honestly I've heared there is no difference between these three options, but I don't know for sure, I've never tried it). Unfortunately In Czech I can buy just some of them, so I usually go for Tropical, Floral or Origin scents which are my favorites. You get 200ml (6.73 fl. oz.) which is not a lot, but if you don't put too much, you will be able to use at least for a month.

Applying this product is super easy. Before I always shake with the bottle and then just spray it where I need ( but keep in mind always keep the nozzle at least 20 cm from head). Then I massage it through my fingers, brush it and style it as I want to. And that's the whole magic. The spray "thing/formula" is white, so I always make sure, that there is no leftover. It would be awkward to go out with white stuff on my hair, don't you think?

Someone said that this doesn't look good when you reapply it in a few days in row, but on the other hand I think if you don't put too much, it always look good even when I reapply it for 2-3 days. This product "stay" in my hair for six to eight hours, so I think this is satisfactory for normal person with normal needs.

So the final questions are… Would I repurchase it? Do I like? Can I see any cons?
I did repurchase this product for many times and now I have 2 backups. So yes, I do love it. I think for the money this is the best dry shampoo on the market. If I see any cons? No, I don't, but I wish they made a bigger size.

Have you guys tried this dry shampoo? What do you think about it?

Have a beautiful day!

Love, Michelle <3

  1. I need to give Batiste a try again, I tried once a long time ago and find it to make my hair feels like straws but that was way back before I know how to use dry shampoo.

  6. My experience with dry shampoos is very limited, but I know a lot of people think that the Batiste ones are the best, despite the huge amount of dry shampoos currently on the market, so I will probably end up trying it at some point! Lovely review!

  7. Batiste dry shampoo is by far my favourite dry shampoo I've ever tried. The only one I don't like from Batiste is the XL Volume one because it dries out my hair.

  15. I'm so sad the Batiste dry shampoos didn't work for me because they're so affordable. I use the Bumble and Bumble pret a powder and love it! Maybe I'll give batiste another try soon just to see if my feelings have changed. So happy it works for you!

  17. Batiste is so reliable. It just does the job doesn't make your hair feel gross and of course it's affordable. The amount of dry shampoo I go through - it doesn't make sense to buy expensive ones.

  18. I don't use dry shampoos because of my curly hair. I tried it once years ago and they suck the moisture out of my hair. I've always heard good things about this brand though.
