Tree Frog Cut Crease

by - 9:00:00 AM

Hello lovelies,

are you wondering how I came up with this name for this look? Do you think it's kinda weird? Well, yes, I think so too, but … If you're a blogger or vlogger who creates eyelooks, makeup tutorials and so, then you know how hard it is to come up with some name for your art. So yesterday I asked mom what this look reminds her and she told me a tree frog, first I was like "eeeh, that's creepy" but then I changed my mind. Why not to have this name, it's my decision, it's different and who cares, right?

And how I created this look? Pretty easy, but that's nothing new from me, because I don't do anything difficult and time consuming, do I? I have a feel like I'm gonna repeat myself, but that's how it is. First thing what I did is that I build up the transition color from crease to the way up to my brow. To be honest, I don't rememebr what brown eyeshadow I used, but it actually doesn't matter. I'm pretty sure that all of you have some warm brown transition color which you can use as transition color. for this look. You always make sure that you give yourself some time for blending the edges, because no one wants harsh and not blended eyelook, trust me. Then I grabbed my beloved Jumbo Pencil from NYX in Milk and created cut crease as a base for the green color. And now the fun part comes … Grab any bold green you have and just put it on top of the white base. Yes, how simple, right? Haha. Because I love the eyeshadow gradient, as you probably noticed, so I had to add little darker green, dark green and soft touch of black (you can see the colors in the picture down below - the colors follows the numbers exactly how I used them). I repeated the process untill I was sure that the colors are nicely blended together. Because there is a lot going on on the upper lid, I decided to leave the lower lashline calm and natural using brown shade everywhere and just a little bit of black to create darker outter corner. To finish the look I had to add some highlighter - my beloved shade Virgin from UD Naked original, some falsies, mascara and brow. And voilá … The Tree Frog Cut Crease is done. Simple, isn't?

Eyes:
Morphe Brushes - 35B palette
Urban Decay - Naked original palette (the shade Virgin)
NYX - Jumbo Pencil in Milk
+ some warm brown eyeshadow

Eylashes:
Eylure, Vegas Nay Shining Star

Eyebrow:
Essence - Eyebrow Stylist Set

Would you wear something like this for normal day? Because yes, I would and even mom mom told me that she liked this bolder eyelook more than some  natural day go looks.

I hope you love this look like I do and if you created any similar looks inspired by me, I would love to see your pictures!

Have a great days, my loves.

Love, Michelle <3
