Monthly Recap, Vol. 8

by - 9:00:00 AM

Hello lovelies!

Today is the last day of the month, again. And if I thought that March was busy, then I was wrong. April was horrible. I had a lot of stress in work, the weather was just crazy, I had some cantracts to translate, papers to sign and celebration of brother's b-day. Just the craziest month so far. So let's get into it.

The biggest and the happiest event of this month was definitely participating at the gel nail lesson. It was on day course where I learnt how to make good looking and long lasting gel nails. I can't use this this lesson to actually start my own nail salon, but I was damn happy that I finally find out and correct my mistakes which I was doing before. Now, I need to experience and learn and maybe one day if I'll have the potential clients, I could pay for a full nail salon course. Anyway, I got this beautiful certification which I'm gonna hang on my wall later.

Then there was Easter. We don't celebrate this holiday at all, but we always visit local fair. This year there was something like haunted house, but it wasn't that good like the ones in the USA for Halloween. But we had fun and that was the most important thing.

I also visited the church where I was baptized when I was a baby. Such a gorgeous place, isn't it?

And the cherry on the top of the cake in that fair was - introducing the real Turkish coffee. I've never seen anything like this before and I must admit that the coffee was absolutely tasty and delicious. Have you tried coffe made in hot sand before?

The biggest joke in this month was the weather. One day beautiful and sunny spring, the second day rainy autumn and the third day snowy winter. Do you guys had the same "problem" too?

The Happy Planner's layout for April was just about colors, spring and Easter. I'm pretty happy how the decorating actually turned out.

And the last but not the least what I'm gonna show you are these two pictures. In the first one you can see amazing salmon with grilled vegetables. My best friend invitied me for this amazing dinner and I'm very thankful for that. And in the second picture I had to show you my adorable new pen (the red lipstick) and marker pen (the bottle of nail polish). Aren't they the best written accessories? Plus you can see my new obsesion -  Rimmel, Hint of Mint nail polish.

And that's all from me for now. How was your April? Did you do anything special this month? Tell me everything!

Love, Michelle <3

  1. Here in Cyprus we have the 'classic cypriot' coffee which is the same thing as the Turkish one and it's so good, it is strong and holds the flavour. And I agree about the weather, it was sunny and warm and suddenly it was raining and windy. xx

  3. Sounds like you had a crazy month, but also a super productive and fun one! The Turkish coffee looks so cool, and going to a session on gel nails sounds like an amazing experience. I also hope the weather becomes less temperamental, but I guess that's what happens in April every year!
