ColourPop Haul
Hello lovelies,
finally I can say "YES, I DID IT". I finally ordered and recieved a package from ColourPop Cosmetics. Do you think that I am crazy? Well, maybe I am., but I have a good reason. Some of you might remember my post about brands / products I wanted to try for ages, but I actually never made the order (if you don't know what I am talking about, the post is right here). Well, exactly a month ago, I placed an order on ColourPop website and made my dream come true. I know that this must sounds pretty silly for many of you, because this is obviously amazing and affordable brand, but for someone who doesn't live in USA is kinda more pricier than you would expect. So everytime when I was ready to buy some products, I always back off because of the shipping and taxes. But not now, cause I got it after a very looooong time.
So as I said, I placed this order a month ago. It took probably seven working days to actually wrap the package, then flying to Prague took about three days and then guess what. The freaking custom post office took like two weeks to actually release my little sweet box. And what I got? Let's dive into it.
Just one more not so much important thing before we start, but how I mentioned before, I am a big fan of KathleenLights, so don't be surprised that I bought more than one of her collaborations, haha. When the package arrived I was pretty amazed how well this was protected. It was wrapped in soft foam so it wouldn't break. The inner sides of the box had lovely motive, so I cut it out and arranged in this photo, so you can see as well. Then I got this also lovely card which made my day. I'm definitely gonna keep this, maybe on my notice board or in my planner, not sure yet.
Five lippie stix, one ultra glossy lip, four super shock shadows and one super shock cheek. That's everything I've got. Button is a satin lippie stix in pinky nude shade what smells like this caramel bonbon I used to love when I was a kid. Oversized is a creme lippie stix in orangey nude color. I was really excited for this one, but I must admit that I expected little bit more orange than this, but I'll see how it's gonna wear on my lips, right? She Bad lippie stix has matte formula with really pale pinky nude color. I'm not sure if this is going to be way more pale for me so I won't look like dead, but I promised myself that I will start doing my makeup again, so let's try it out. And now we have three lippies from KathleenLights collection. Lumiere, Taurus and Aquarius ultra glossy lip - what can I say more? I think they are popular on their own. Lumiere - perfect mauve pink in matte formula; Taurus - dark warm brown in matte formula as well and Aquarius - ultra glossy lip in pinky nude for "no makeup" makeup days.
Then I got this Zingara set of four super shock shadows - Jinxie (pearlized soft beige and gold), Paradox (satin rich burgundy purple), Elixir (matte red bricks) and Seeker (matte reddish brown). And do you wanna hear the biggest joke? The last thing I bought is Bardot super shock cheek. I'm pretty sure you are smart enough to figure out that this is a blush, not an eyeshadow, righ? Well yes and the joke is - I kinda missed that fact somehow and ordered this as an eyeshadow. How stupid, rigt? Haha. Well I'm gonna try to work this pearlized copper shade out with my ass pale skin. Hopefully I'll be successful.
I think I wrote just way too much words for just one haul, don't you think? So I think this is the right time to actually stop this post. I hope you liked it and if you've tried anything from these products, let me know what you think about it.
Have a great day and thank you for sticking around.
Love, Michelle <3
I would be more than happy if you join the Bloglovin' party with me (I will follow back). :)

I love ColourPop, but totally agree that they're expensive when you add the shipping and customs! I try to hold out for free shipping or spend over the amount to get it for free. You picked up some lovely bits xx

Yeah, that's what I did. I had free shipping and $5 off and still, I paid $25 for custums. How sad.. But I'm happy I made the order. :)
DeleteLooks like you picked up a bunch of lovely products! I also put in an order with them recently and just received it today. I picked up Elixir as well & I am in love!

DeleteThe customs fee kills me, for that reason I don't see myself buying from them again even though their Matte Lippie Stix are so gorgeous, great haul! I love Paradox, it is such a gorgeous shade xxx

Thank you, Kate! I can't wait either!
DeleteThose lippie stix have the best formula in my opinion! There's quite a bit of transfer but the buttery feeling is super nice on the lips until it wears off xx

Free shipping is always such a horrible best seller, haha. I had to unsubscribe their newsletters so it won't tease anymore, haha.

Thank you, Ingrid!
DeleteFantabulous haul Michelle! I've held off ordering so many times its's not funny because of the shipping charges - oh how I wish there was a stockist here in Australia as I'm in love with their shadows, lip liners, gel liners and blushes. I'm sure you could use the blush as an eye shadow - I've done that before with no problem xxx
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. Just wish they would stock worldwide so we wouldn't have to pay customs fee.
DeleteThank you, Kat!
Love your ColourPop haul, Michelle. I am always tempted by their sale, but have restricted myself to a couple of orders xx
ReplyDeleteThank you, lovely. I need to make sure that now on I will restrict as well, haha.
DeleteI've never tried Colour Pop before but I have had my eye on a few items :D
ReplyDeleteGirl, go ahead, you won't regret!
DeleteThe Zingara set is so pretty :) I really love the Lippie Stix too!
