What Does Make Me Feel Better?

Hello lovelies, 

today's post is gonna be about something else than makeup, skincare and eye looks. I think I've never  wrote anything like this before, but I've got a lot of stuff on my mind. I haven't been in the happiest place in my life for a few months now and I feel like I need to tell someone. I'm not the person who actually tells people every problem I have and rather keep them for myself and deal with them, but it's not always so easy, right? I'm pretty sure that all of you know this feel. Sometimes we need to do something to make us just a little bit happier at the moment and that's what I would like to talk about today..

I'm having something like existential crises. I'm getting out of the relationship after four years. I know four years are not that long time, but I've been through a lot with this person. He made me feel like no one else before, he helped me to actually start to love myself for the first time, he taught me a lot of thing and gave me a chance to experience a lot of adventures. He also showed me my dark side of me and I've been gone through hell with him. We loved and hated each other at the same time since the beginning, but last year it was just a roller coaster. He gave me a chance to live better life and now it's just ruined. I'm starting from the bottom, alone. I have to take care of myself and it's just not so easy if your job is just one big terror and it's not something what you would love to do, when your dreams are slowly disappearing, when people around you somehow live your life you dreamed about .. Loving husband, kids, dog, kitty, nice big house in Texas, make up career, money, traveling,  …just be free .. That's what I could've had and won't have anymore. Let's just say that growing up  and being on your own sucks at the moment and I can't wait to actually find my new start again. Too many donws past two years, so where is the end? Who knows, but I'm very grateful for these little moments what makes me feel better at least a little bit and I would love to share them with you. I hope I didn't turn you off thanks this little emotional paragraph and I promise you won't see them often, haha. And now, let's jump into my tips what makes me feel better when I feel down.

Spending time with my mom
Well, this is fifty fifty. My mom always makes me feel better, she cuddles me, listen to me and makes sure that I am in better mood. I am very grateful for this, because she's my best friend and I love her so much. On the other hand, I always have to talk to her, she always needs to know what happened and most of the time I'm just not ready to say it out loud. Sometimes I wish she wouldn't see me in these states of mind.

Cuddling with cats
This always helps me. They always make me feel better, because I love them just way too much. My beloved half Main Coon cat Stephan is just adorable cutie pie and thanks to his love the world can't be as black as it shows up. Honestly, I can't wait to bring another cutie pie to my mini family (it's gonna be less in two months) and hopefully, if my financial situation is gonna be okay, I would love to buy a puppy next year.

Long Hot Bath
There is always this need after happening something bad - taking a long hot bath with my ears plugged and listening some good music. I always spend there at least 30-40 min and after that I always feel better.

Yes, it's Netflix. Generaly I love being home, because I'm introvert and loner and when I feel depressed this need just doubles. I would never feel better to go out and shake it off like everybody  would advice, so the best time is going to bed and watch enormous amount of TV shows.  The sad fact of this is, that Netflix is still paid by my ex boyfriend and I'm just counting the days when he cuts me off...

Makeup is my best friend and it helped me to raise my self-confidence. When I feel down, I love to watch youtube videos, read other's blog, putting full face of glam or just being crazy with colors. There is nothing wrong with that, no one can see me and no one can judge me. 

Online Shopping
Yes, the best - worst thing in the world. There is something so relaxing about shopping online. You just click and click and click and then you're done. You have something to look forward. The best therapeutic session for your soul, just the bank account suffers.

Well, I think this is it and I know this is not something revolutionary, what you might've expected, but these things really helps me. And now … What is your best thing to do when you are depressed? I would love to read your tips and maybe try something new next time.

  2. 4 years relationship is a long time, Michelle and I am sorry that the relationship didn't work out. I think when we are in a relationship, we have an image and role as one part of a couple so when things didn't work out, we have to struggle a little to find ourself again.
