Look Fantastic Beauty Box, May 2017
Hello lovelies,
I know, I know, it's almost the end of the month and I'm writing about the box now. Well, let me explain. First week we had two public holidays, so the delivering was kinda tricky, so the box actually arrived in second week of May. Last week I was pretty sick (and still am) so I couldn't have written anything, so I apologize for that, but introducing this box had to be today. Plus I also wanted to order the Benefit collaboration with LF and guess what… I waited three weeks for this and then I found out that this is only for UK only. You have no idea how upset I was. Well, to make it little bit better, I ordered our Czech Sephora collaboration with Marie Claire box, haha. Can't wait to recieve it. And finally what I got in May box? Then keep on reading …
Mellow, Baked Eyeshadow in Cream
I'm gonna be honest, I was pretty blown away when I saw this eyeshadow. We don't get a lot of decorative products from LF, which I am okay with that, but when we do, I'm pretty happy. This is a baked eyeshadow promising high quality. Can't wait to play with it. This product retails for $8 and you can shop it here.
Wella System Professional, Luxe Oil
I love to give a special care to my hair, because I love to see them grow. On the other hand, I'm pretty picky when it comes to hair care products. When I realized that this is a hair oil, I had mixed feeling. I've been loving and been satisfied with Davines Oi Oil for years, so now I'm scared to try something else, haha. It promise smooth, shiny hair with better texture. Well, we will see how it goes, right? This is kinda cheap piece, this had 1 fl oz / 30 ml worth $5,5.
Real Chemistry, Luminous 3-Minute Peel
First thing you can see in the instructions is "this is not a mask" and it just made me laugh. This is a very small sample (0.25 fl oz / 7 ml) of a pricey product ($48 for full packaging which is 1,7 fl oz / 50 ml). I'm gonna borrow the official text from Ulta website, because it just got me so excited "Real Chemistry Luminous 3 Minute Peel removes large amounts of excess, dead epidermal cells in seconds. As the synergistic blend of ingredients is gently massaged into the skin, solids form under the fingertips. These are a combination of the peel's protein-binding ingredients and epidermal protein. 99.5% of consumers who tested the product and have experience with dermabrasion and acid peels, reported that the Real Chemistry Luminous 3 Minute Peel was as effective or more effective, but did not irritate the skin like other methods. This protein peel leaves the skin velvety soft and resurfaced after just one use. Resurfacing is recommended at least once per week for most skin types." Would you not be excited? This mini sample is worthy $7.
James Read, Gradual Tan H2O Tan Mist
This is something I've never had experience with. Before and/or after doing makeup just spritz on face and your glow and tan is good to go. Sounds pretty great, doesn't it? How I said multiple times, I'm not a big fan of fake tan products, then now I must admit that I'm pretty excited for this spray. This small bottle of 1 fl oz / 30 ml is worthy $9,4.
Glov Hydro Demaquillage, Quick Treat
We've heard a lot about Makeup Eraser Remover Cloth, right? But have you heard about this brand? I haven't and I can't wait to find out if this really works. This is a small finger glove, which you should erase your makeup effectively. Well, we will see, right? This retails for $4,5.
Scrub Love, Hydrating Coconut Oil Body Scrub in Coconut Cranberry
Body scrub, what else I need to say? Summer is coming, so I'll be more than happy to try some new scrub for my body. This is 100% natural and paraben free and containing cranberry seed oil with coconut shell. This is a half size product worth $6,5.
NuFace, Prep-N-Glow
This is a dual side cloth which is supposed to cleanse skin with smoother side and exfoliate with the micro dots side. I think the concept is pretty good, but I don't think that this is a "budget" product, I would repurchase, haha. This is only one cloth for 2 dollars.
Final thoughts and calculating: Overall I think this month was really good, I've got some interesting products to actually try. On the other hand, I wish we got bigger size of that Real Chemistry, Luminous 3-Minute Peal, because let's be honest, what's 0,25 fl oz - one try and that's it? It sounds really promising, but I need more than one try to actually have some opinion. Anyway, I've got seven products in this box and if I calculated correctly, the price is almost $43. It's not bad, but as I said last month, I'm kinda missing here a full size product of something a little bit pricer. Do you feel the same way?
Have a great day!
Love Michelle <3

ReplyDeleteOh of course, I am not disappointed by the price at all. If this is gonna be great product for a budget, I'll be more than happy, haha.

ReplyDeleteSo far I'm pretty impressed. :)
DeleteNice selection there Michelle - I agree that one full-size product makes these boxes worth while, especially if it's something I would use, enough product for one application of anything just annoys me too xxx
