Monthly Recap, Vol. 4

by - 9:00:00 AM

Hello guys,

can't believe that's already the last month of this year. I know, I know, I'm pretty sure I repeat myself how I can't belive how fast time flies, but it's true. Two months ago I counted down days to leave to USA and now I count down days when I will leave. It's surreal and makes me sad. Anyway let's get talk about something more positive and happy. Last month I didn't do that much as in October, but still it was very productive month. I spent a lot of time with N's family, so I'm not sad that I didn't explore new places that much.

First two weeks I spent a lot of time outside walking in Howarth Park and Spring Lake Park. I was playing Pokemon Go, observe the beauty around me and enjoyed the fresh air. Sun was shining, temperature was high, perfect November as I've never experienced (in Czech is very bad weather lately). Would you not spend the time outside?

Finally I had a chance to see cheerleader's competition. It was a big event with many teams and I enjoyed very much. I don't know how about you, but in my country cheerleading is not quite popular, so I knew this "sport" only from tv. Seeing this was a new and great experience for me.

Everytime I am in United States I never can miss Hooters. My first experince with Hooters was 6 types of wings with different flavor and I found myself in heaven. Since then I always have to visit this place. This time I was not in mood for wings, so I decided to try some of their fish tacos and I loved (even that I would prefer letuce instead of cabbage).

San Francisco is always on my visit list everytime I'm here. First day we spent the whole day in China Town, which was a big experience. Can't really say if it was some holiday, or just a regular day in China Town, but everyone was out of the street and everyone seemed to be celebrating. I bought a lot of presents for my family, so I hope they will like it.

Second day in SF we decided to explore local strip street right next to the ocean. We saw street art, visited a lot of shops and spent a lot of money.

In third week of November we waited for better weather so we could've visited local Pacific Cost Air Museum. I've never seen military jets and I was happy that N knew a lot of information about them, so I had a chance to finally learn something. And the cherry on the the top of cake? There was a plane stimulator which were made in Czechoslovakia, I was very proud of my country at the time.

My first Thanksgiving in my life. This is just a little piece of all the food I had a chance to try.  And please, don't ask me how they called. :D

How was your November and how did you spend Thanksgiving?

Love, Michell <3
