Monthly Recap, Vol. 6

by - 9:00:00 AM

Hello lovelies,

how was your February? Honestly I was thinking if I should write this post or if I should skip it and just do the regular Sunday Survey, because I actually don't have anything special from last night. February was pretty busy month for me. I worked a lot, because my co workers were sick, so we all had to take some double shifts and Saturday's. I'm not trying to complain or anything, but February just wasn't productive month for me. As you may know I even took a week break which I talked about in last post here, so I'm not gonna grumble about it anymore.

Anyway, because of the busy month and not really great weather, I didn't go to any trip, so I don't have any nice pictures. But, there are something I would like to share with you and what I am proud of,  so I've decided to do this post. Not sure how excited it's gonna be, but don't tell me that all of you have every month super interesting.

First thing I woud love to talk about are books. I'm very happy for myself, that I actually found the time and read one book per month as I promised myself in the beginningof this year. This month I finished Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty (the blue book, just for your information - I was too lazy to search books in English, so I just borrowed the Czech version). Girl, if you haven't read this book yet, then what are you waiting for? Don't wait for the TV show and read the book. You won't regret. Just a quick highlight if you don't know what is it about. The story is about Jane, Madeline and Celeste and their children. Each of them are totally different, but they are the best friends, but are they really honest to each other? Even the smallest lie can create the biggest tragedy- murder. Go read and find more. The second book I started to read is Magdalene Scrolls by Barbara Woods. This book is little bit out of my range, but so far it's good. Wait for the March Recap, Vol. 7 to findou out how I liked it.

Next thing I wanted to show you is my The Happy Planner. I wanted to do a special post about it, but I think adding a little section to my monthly recaps is probably better choice. February was all about hearts and flowers, maybe because of the Valentine's Day or maybe because I can't wait for  the Spring to come. Anyway these are my layouts and how I decorated them. Hopefully you will like them and maybe take some inspiration. It's simple, but for me it's a form of relaxation and turning off the stress. I'm very happy how it turned out and I can't wait to get some inspiration for March.

The latest positive thing this months is finally joining the club with Chocolate Bar palette from Too Faced. I remember when I wanted to buy my first Chocolate Bar and I spent hours comparing them so I could've decided which one I should buy. Back at the day the Semi Sweet won, but since then I couldn't forget about the original one. So one day, when my Sephora had 20 % off, I didn't wait and just ordered it. Now I don't use anything else.

In February I also decided to actually buy mom's flat and her car, so I could finally start to live on my own. It's gonna take a year or so, but still, in 2-3 months I'm going to talk to banks and ask them for mortgage. On the other hand I got some negative news as well. My youngest cat went for a castration, so I was little bit stressed out about that and … My grandma's cancer came back. She already had one surgery and it didn't look good. She's gonna spend 3-4 more months in hospital and have one more surgery in 4 weeks. We all have bad mood about that and we are worried about her. Hopefully she's gonna be good. I love her too much.

How were you in Februray? Tell me everything.

PS: My 12 years old autistic brother sewed the heart (the one in the pictures) for me when he was in mental hospital for  a month. I love it so much.

Have a great Sunday!

Love, Michelle <3
