Sunday Survey, Vol. 16
Hello lovelies,
today is Sunday and it means that's time for Happy Sunday Survey. Sunday Survey is another great way to share something from your life, but it's also great opportunity to get to know you guys! The principle is simple, I'll ask five questions, answer them and you can feel free to do the same. :)
1. First day of Spring is coming very soon, so my first question is how do you prepare your home for this season?
I've read many posts abour redecorating and rebuilding your home for spring, but honestly I don't know how you guys do that. On the other hand I decided to finally start with my mini "gardening" as I always wanted to. I bought some new succulents, waiting for gardening festival where I can buy some new interesting plants and waitingfor my two mystery seeds to sprout.
2. When I mentioned plants, so I would like to now what do you think about bonsai? Would you like to shape your own bonsai?
The reason why I'm asking is because next week me and mom are going to order our very first bonsai which we would like to shape and cut on our own. I'm pretty excited. If you can't imagine what I'm talking about, here is a picture from Pinterest.
3. How did you celebrate International Women's Day?
Honestly we don't celebrate Women's Day, but I got a beautiful yellow-orange rose from my boss.
4. Who do you admire the most?
I always going to have only one answer to this question and that is my mom. This woman is incredible, strong and powerful, for me she is a superhero. The way how she deals with her life on her own without any help with two kids is just something amazing. One day I hope I can at last half as good as her.
5. What's your current favorite song?
Right now it's Wild Horses by Birdie. How I could've missed this sonf for about a year?!?

All right guys, here are my answers and now I would like to read yours.
Have a great lazy Sunday like one of my sweethearts in the picture!
Love, Michelle <3

I'm so excited to see your bonsai! I have a little ficus bonsai from IKEA that lost all its leaves a few months ago and now it's finally getting them back! I haven't cut it yet because well the leaves haha but might do once they grow back! It's so stressful to cut them down, even pruning my house plants leaves me really stressed because I worry they'll die! x
ReplyDeleteI think that this little series is wonderful hun, it's great getting to know you a little better! :) I love the idea of getting a bonsai tree, and would love to get my own, also. I have heard that they can be a little difficult to look after, though! Still, I think they're gorgeous. :) So sweet what you said about your Mum! I feel the same way about mine. :) Thank you for sharing, I hope that you're having a wonderful week so far! xoxo

Great post, I enjoyed reading your answers. I wish we had a bonsai tree, the closest we have to greenery inside the house is my Mum's browning bamboo stick, thank you for sharing. So happy Spring is here xxx

We are fixing up all the little dings in our current house hoping to get it ready for sale in a month or two. We're building our dream home so it'll be fun to decorate our new home in the Summer.
ReplyDeleteI admire anyone who is able to care for a bonsai, I believe it's not an easy task?

ReplyDeleteOh, I love surveys! Let's give this a try!
1. I have several plans for home redecorating that have been put off for the past three years. This Spring my parent's will be staying with us so I actually have to free a room (my office) for them and have my office in the living room for two months, so redecoration will have to wait for sure.
2.I always thought that Bonsais were extremely difficult to take care of, but that's may seem so to me 'cause I'm a plant killer :P
3.I don't celebrate (because, honestly, what there is to celebrate) but I hope to do so some day (if would mean the world has healed).
4. I do not tend to admire people. I love people lots and lots, but I don't admire anyone.
5. Music wise I'm awfully not a trendy person, so I have no idea what is in the charts right now! I've been listening Raphael Gualazzi a lot lately, so my favorite song at this moment is from him.
Have a lovely week sweetie!

I want to re-decorate my house and incorporate some colour, at the moment the decoration is grey and white but I love flowers and plants and I would love to buy new colourful pillows for my living room.

I love your main picture, it's so bright and pretty! I have this amazing plant collection at home, so thank you for the idea, I might think of some spring post to feature them! xx
ReplyDeleteMy boy-friend loves gardening so I recently got him a kit to do so... I'm not into shaping my plants though... I'm more of a makeup girl! Lol
