RYOR, Cream With Amaranth Oil and Silk

Hello guys,

have you heard about RYOR brand? No? That's such a shame! RYOR is actually Czech company which focus on skincare products (mostly) using natural extracts. It was established in 1991 as a family bussiness which tried to offer high quality for affordable price. It became pretty popular and nowdays they cooperate with more than 20 countries worldwide. If you were interested in finding more, check out their website ryor.com.

Anyway, I started to use moisturizers from this brand when I was in my early teenage years when I had oily skin. Probably the most popular product from this brand is Mattifying Cream With Powder-Effect from Marine Algae Care line. What I remember, it was pretty effective and I loved this product. But today I'd like to talk about moisturize from theyr Ryamar line - Cream With Amaranth Oil and Silk, which promise to be a product for very sensitive skin. Amaranth Oil is knows for regenerative and antioxidizing effects and silk makes the skin smooth and soft.

Price
In Czech drugstore this product costs around $4, but I'm little worried that the price might be little bit higher in differeny countries.

Packaging
This moisturizer is in open jar which is not my favorite, because sticking my fingers into the jar can contamine the product with bacteria. I wish it was in squeezing tube or with a pump, that is much more hygienic. The jar is plastic, nothing fancy, but for the price what would you expect. On the jar is only two stickers with informations and name - pretty simple, but I don't mind. You get 50 ml (1.7 fl. oz.) which normal size of facial creams.  It took me 2 months to finish this.

Texture and scent
The texture is light weight, it is not ultra light weight, but I wouldn't say that it has thick texture at all (I read some reviews and people had this opinion). The scent is not strong, but you definitely can smell it for first few minutes. It doesn't have to be everyone's a cup of tea, because it reminds me little bit of men scents - kinda spicy, but nothing what would bother. I really enjoyed this, because I'm not a big fan of sweet fragnance.

Application
Because it's light weight it soaked into skin very fast and foundation was applied on nicely as well.

Final thoughts
This product is suitable for very sensitive skin and I agree. I had no redness and pain around my nose and cheeks. The scent didn't bother me, I smelled it for a first minutes but then it disappeared. It moisturized my skin well, but it wasn't a huge bomb. My skin was more soft and smooth. For the price the product is good, but I don't feel like I was impressed that much. It is normal moisturizer which does the job with moisturizing skin and that's what I expected, but if you are looking for something with special benefits, this probably won't be the best choice for you.

Summa Summarum, it doesn't impress and it doesn't affront (do you guys know this saying?), so I rate this product with three stars.

Have a great day!

Love, Michelle <3
