today I'm bringing for you review for single Moondust eyeshadow from Urban Decay. Hope you will like it.
PACKAGING
The packing is made from plastic with 0.05 oz / 1.5 g of product. It looks very luxurious, but when you hold it, it's super light, so it might feels like cheaper packaging.
COLOR
Solstice is a single eyeshadow from Moondust eyeshadow collection from Urban Decay. The color has burgundy undertone with blue, purple and pink sparkles.
PIGMENTATION
This eyeshadow was kinda disappointing for me. I expected bigger intensity and the color payoff was almost transparent. You definitely have to build up a lot and use some base, darker one is better than white one.
TEXTURE
Texture is not as smooth as I would expected, feels little rough and chunky. It's very powdery and has a lot of fallout under the eye area. You definitely needs to apply this before foundation, so you can wipe the dust off or use eyeshadow shields (eyeshadow fallout pads).
APPLICATION
Dry or wet the payoff is still the same. You need to build up, but it still doesn't show up like I wanted to. It's powdery and needs base.
LONGEVITY
It gives you all day, but the intensity fades during the day.
Summa summarum I expected a lot more from Urban Decay. This brand can do much better job with eyeshadows. Honestly I think Urban Decay belongs to the top of the brands with eyeshadows, so this was big disappointment for me. This product deserves only three stars.
Burgundy undertone.

Left to right: 1- without base, 2- with white base, 3- with black base.
